pre requisites
The Blues workshops are open to everyone, even if you haven't done any dancing before !
For Balboa, there are some minimum requirements at both levels:
- Level 1 (Baby Bal) - this class is aimed at 'new Balboa dancers', but you must at least be familiar with the basic rhythms (uphold, downhold, and breaktime), and be able to do a breakturn and throw out.
- Level 2 (Big Bal) - for this class you must have been dancing Balboa consistently for at least 6 months, and be comfortable dancing all the basic pure Balboa and Bal-Swing moves (Breakturn, Throw Out, Scoots, Paddles, Lollies, and Crossovers) at 200bpm.
