Even if you are not doing the workshops, we would love to have you come along to one or all of our social dancing nights - and, never fear, even though the days will be full of Balboa and Blues, the evenings will of course include a good mix of our plain ol' swing favourites as well.

This may be at our normal Friday night venue, but I can guarantee it will NOT be a normal night. We are very lucky to be kicking off our weekend with some bonus workshops by our guest teachers (and no, they will NOT be Balboa OR Blues) - so make sure you come on over and see these guys in action in one of their other areas of expertise! Plus there will be more nibbles than usual (and I dare say, more drinking than usual), so that's gotta be good, right?
Registration: This will also be the first chance for those of you that have purchased a BBX pass to complete your registration for the weekend. Registration will run from 6.30pm up until the lesson starts at 7pm - but we highly recommend you arrive EARLY so you don't miss any of the lesson! Seriously! Come early and beat the rush. |

The 20 piece Queen City Big Band, featuring some of the best up and coming players in Auckland, is without a doubt one of New Zealand's favourite swing bands, so whatever you do, don't miss this opportunity to hear them play. This is our BIG night, so get out your best retro outfits and come and help us recreate the rhythm and nostalgia of the big band era.

To finish off the weekend we are going to turn the lights down low and dance the night away to some gorgeous music by some gorgeous guest DJs at the gorgeous Pasion Por Tango Studio.
