Welcome to BASE Camp, our Blues And Swing Extravaganza

Last year was all about Balboa. This year it is The Year of the Blues. In 2011, for our second annual exchange, we have four truly incredible and inspiring teachers and performers coming to New Zealand to share their magic with us. All four are at the top of their respective fields, and all are known for their passion for connection, movement, and musicality. Yes, believe it or not, we have:

There is no better combination to lead us on a seamlessly integrated journey to to Blues and Lindy Hop heaven. So come and join us over the Queen's Birthday long weekend, for an incredible experience that will take place right in the heart of Auckland. With THREE days of workshops and FIVE nights of social dancing we can promise you that being dead on your feet will never have been more fun. It is a weekend of dancing, learning, socialising and sharing that should not be missed. We are keeping our fingers crossed that some of you folks from cities and lands afar will have heard what an enthusiastic and friendly bunch we are - and will come and sample our Kiwi hospitality :) Please make sure you let us know you are coming....and we will do our best to help you out with hosting if interested, and / or travel and accommodation advice.		We don't want anyone to miss out, so if you think BASE Camp sounds like a bunch of FUN that you would like to be a part of, then we encourage you to come along and start taking lessons now. We have classes suitable for absolute beginners at four fabulous venues around town so have a look at our website for the details, and we will see you soon!		Students take note! In return for a discounted pass, we are looking for a bunch of very special people that might be mad enough to help us out with some chores over the weekend. If that sounds like you and you can help us with things like registration and setting up and packing down at the events, we would LOVE to hear from you. And we would love you forever.
